3 yr. old Star Wars fan

Posted by Jason

Like possibly many of you, I grew up on Star Wars and love light saber fighting to this day with my son. I can't wait for the new Star Wars game to come out on Wii in April/May. These are all reasons why the video below makes me smile a whole lot. This girl was not told what to say, she explains details that many people would gloss over. If you enjoy the first Star Wars movie you will enjoy this clip.

In preparation for our big easter egg hunt tomorrow with friends and family we colored some easter eggs tonight. We colored about 3 dozen. The kids had tons of fun!
I finished all my eggs first, but mine looked the worst for some reason. I think I tried to get too creative. The main goal for the evening was to not knock over the die in each of the cups....when it was all over we did succeed.
I had to wash Chandlers hands about six times, and then we only got most of the die off. I was calling him "The Incredible Hulk" the rest of the night because of his green hands.
We all had fun and the kids are excited about hunting for easter eggs tomorrow! I love to hide them. Each year I can make it a little more difficult. Happy Easter everyone!

We had a great time two weekends ago heading down to San Diego for my cousins wedding. About a 3 hr. drive one way. The ceremony was really awesome. The only other time I've been inside that Temple is during the open house when I was 12 or 13. This photo is of my son Chandler standing outside the temple while we were waiting for the bride and groom to exit after their sealing. We also visited some friends down in San Diego while we were there. This couple actually went to high school with us and they met and dated there just like my wife and I did. He was the capitan of the football team so I didn't know him very well then( I didn't play high school football), but we got to know eachother more after graduation. Their kids are the same age as ours so they love playing together and having sleepovers.

Chandler has also missed this last week of preschool. He had a very bad cough (my wife thought it was "croup" which he has had before) and he wasn't getting better so when we went back to the doctor they diagnosed him with Asthma. They gave us an inhaler for him and the whole deal. So far he doesn't mind using it, it's just an inconvenience when your trying to play and mom makes you stop and take your medicine. On the flip side he is excited to go back to school tomorrow morning after being out for a week. He says he misses his friends and his teacher Mrs. Burke.

My first post. I'm "official now"

Posted by Jason

I guess I'm a blogger now. We'll see how this goes. I thought I would try this out since a lot of my friends have blogs. I'm planning on posting some stuff about my family, things were doing and life in general. I am also interested in mobile blogging from my cell phone with pictures, video etc. We'll see how that goes. So post some comments and let me know what you think. I guess this could become a sort of diary, ah, I mean journal (that's what guys have isn't it?) I think it's kind of nice that they show the time when you post. I seem to be on the computer late in the evening. That's the only true quiet time around these parts! Well, here we go!
