I was turned on to Facebook by several of my friends that I grew up with. They told me it's a great way to catch with some people we went to school with and haven't talked to forever. They were right! Not only have I been able to get back in touch with old friends but also with people I new in several places I lived for a short time including my mission. It keeps you up to date with who there talking with and allows you to grow your circle of friends and even play small silly games with each other and tons of other stuff. If you aren't on there you need to be. It takes the idea of the MySpace phenomenon without all the smut and a lot more functionallity. The privacy is handled really well on there as well. No one can see anything about you until you accept there invitation as a friend or you send them one and they accept it.
