Last weekend marked 8 yrs. of marriage for us. We decided to just getaway and left the kids with grandma and grandpa. We stayed at a hotel that just opened up in Rancho Cucamonga,CA. Why did we go there? Because we got a good deal on the hotel and it was only a couple hours away! We went to the giant mall they have there (who do you think chose that). We went swimming in there awesome pool which had speakers under the water. Sat. morning we woke up and drove to the X-games in LA, but it was all sold out so we went to the Aquarium of the Pacific. The photo you see here is us inside the bird exhibit. The parrots are flying all around and as you can see they land on you and drink the Nector inside the cup. We saw lots of cool stuff there. We had a great trip, but we were excited to get back to the kids. It's weird how quiet it can be without them. I'm looking forward to another 8 great years!
